BEAUTY AND THE BEAST TICKETS ON SALE
Tickets are on sale for performances of BEAUTY AND THE BEAST, North Brunswick’s 48th annual musical sponsored by the township Department of Parks, Recreation and Community Services. Performances are Thursday, Friday and Saturday, March 1, 2, and 3 at 8:00 p.m., in the North Brunswick Township High School Auditorium.
With children in mind, a matinee with reduced prices will be staged on Saturday, March 3 at 2:00 p.m. The total cast, crew and orchestra include nearly 85 area residents from North Brunswick and surrounding communities.
The Beauty and the Beast "tale as old as time" is filled with an enchanting story line, memorable music, and spectacular costume and scenic design that will bring the community together for family musical theatre at its best.
Director Michael Hritz leads the group with Music Director Dan Walker, Choreographer Lester Holmes, and Production Manager Michael Winkler. Peter Zych and Nansi Krauss are the Stage Managers, Carolyn McCaffrey is coordinating and designing costumes, and Ann Louise Winkler is the Scenic Designer.
The show features Samantha Cantaffa as Belle, Harrison Singer as The Beast, Scott Johnson as Gaston, Matthew Tobio as Lefou, Frank Andrews as Maurice, Bob Nutter as Cogsworth, Greg Perkins as Lumiere, Sheilla Kraft as Babette, Eileen Garlatti as Mrs. Potts, Luke Andrews as Chip, Mary Kate Bozinta as Madame De La Grande Bouche, and Joe Zedney as Monsieur D’Arque.
Ticket prices for the March 1, 2 and 3 evening performances are $18.00 for adults and $15.00 for children 12 and under and senior citizens; for the Saturday, March 3 matinee ticket prices are $15.00 and $10.00. They can be purchased in advance from cast members, at the North Brunswick Municipal Building on 710 Hermann Road between 8:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., or at the door on performance nights.
