North Brunswick Junior Police Academy

The North Brunswick Police Department will host its 15th Annual Junior Police Academy July 16-26, 2018

We design our Junior Police Academy to assist our youth to be exceptional citizens through law enforcement education. While being part of our community policing program, our young citizens are encouraged to be better partners in building a safer community. This program allows Police Officers the opportunity to become positive role models through a hands-on, positive experience.

Children entering grades 7-9 are exposed to the rigorous educational environment of an actual police academy geared toward an age-appropriate setting. Once the academy is completed, children who remain members will assist the North Brunswick Police Department with community events throughout the year.

This year's academy will be held weekdays from 8 a.m. - 3:45 p.m., July 16-26, 2018 at North Brunswick Township High School.

Applications will be available at the North Brunswick Police Department, 710 Hermann Road at 7 a.m. June 18, 2018 (no earlier) and must be completed and returned by 3:00 p.m. June 24, 2018. Space is VERY limited, applicants are considered based on many factors including the order we receive the applications. Applicants will be notified by phone call on or around June 27th.
