On the first Tuesday of August, the Department presents National Night Out, held in the Police Department parking lot.
National Night Out is a free annual community event that enhances the relationship between residents and law enforcement while bringing back a true sense of community. It has activities for the kids, including a bouncy house and slides, plenty of food and drinks, snow cones and cotton candy.
Members of the Department, Fire Department, Rescue Squad and Emergency Management have equipment on display.
