Children, tweens and teens have been making memories at DPRCS Summer Camp for over 30 years. The DPRCS Summer Camp offers flexibility to create a one week to ten-week plan to match your family’s needs.  Programs include: Recreation Days, Kindercamp, Day Camp, Half-Day Camp, and Camp Journey and parents can extend the fun by adding AM Campcare or PM Campcare.

Recreation Days – Campers entering 1st – 8th Grade in September

Save your vacation days and send your children to Recreation Days!  Whether it is the week before summer camp or during the school year while school is closed, Recreation Days is the answer.  Children and staff come together and fill the day with breakfast, lunch and an afternoon snack with lots of action in between. Children will participate in indoor and outdoor activities, swimming at the High School, a trip (offered when the program is a whole week) and bonding through recreation. Hosted at Linwood School, 7 a.m. – 6 p.m.  Keep your vacation days and let us spend time with your children. 

Kindercamp – Children entering Kindergarten in September

If your youngster is just starting Kindergarten ~ Kindercamp is the place to be!  This eight-week educational recreational program is geared toward moving on up from Pre-School to Elementary School.  Children and staff will spend the morning focused on educational activities inside Judd School and an afternoon participating in indoor and outdoor recreational activities including swimming and a weekly field trip.  This Kindergarten style day is held at Judd School and Veterans Park, Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. Need to extend the fun?  No problem, children can start as early as 7 a.m. and stay as late as 6 p.m. by adding AM Campcare and PM Campcare.

Day Camp – Campers entering 1st – 6th Grade in September

Young Campers can enjoy six-weeks of Day Camp filled with indoor/outdoor activities, sports, crafts, cooking, swimming, canoeing, and a weekly field trip.  Day Camp meets at Veterans Park, Monday-Friday, from 8:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.  Camps are organized by grade (one grade per camp).

Camp Journey – Teens/Tweens entering 7th-9th Grade in September

Tweens and Teens are going places! Camp Journey is an eight-week travel camp which embarks on different voyage each day returning by 3:30 p.m. (some trips return later).  Camp Journey meets at Veterans Park 8:30 a.m., Monday – Friday and is open for students entering grades 7th-9th.  When the camp day is local tweens and teens also participate in activities on site as well as canoeing at Farrington Lake and bowling at Bowlero once a week. 

AM Campcare and PM Campcare

Extend the fun by adding AM Campcare or PM Campcare.  Let the fun begin as early as 7 a.m. and let them enjoy the day until 6 p.m. AM Campcare is held at Judd School children enjoy breakfast until 8 a.m. and play games before being escorted to the next stop of the day.  At 3:30 p.m. campers can stay longer, have a snack and participate in more activities including swimming before leaving at 6 p.m.
