Due to the unprecedented rainfall totals and subsequent flooding from Tropical Storm Ida, a special bulk garbage pickup will be done on Saturday, Sept. 4th in order to assist residents who may have damaged items to dispose of due to water accumulating in basements. Items must be brought out to the curb today.
Residents may also dispose of any water damaged items that fit in the garbage cart in the weekly collection. It is critically important that you place ONLY your storm damaged refuse/debris materials out for this collection.
However, all disposal regulations with regard to hazardous waste apply.
