Presented annually to a youth who distinguishes himself/herself by demonstrating examples of strong character, leadership skills and a positive attitude which influences the youth of North Brunswick. Any graduating senior volunteer who has made a significant impact on the lives of their peers can be nominated.

This award is given in the spirit of volunteerism and accordingly all nominees must be nominated for their volunteer efforts. This award is given in the spirit of volunteerism.

The recipient must be a graduating senior in a private, public or is homeschooled.

CRITERIA

A youth volunteer who actively participates in community service roles.

AND/OR

A youth volunteer coach or volunteers at any youth sports programs.

AND/OR

Involved in a troop scout organization.

AND/OR

A youth volunteer in any religious or other youth programs.

NOMINATION DEADLINE: Tuesday, October 15, 2024

All nominations will be reviewed by the Township Parks and Recreation Advisory Committee and an annual recipient of the Young Adult Peer Advocate of the Year Award will be recognized in December, date TBA.
