North Brunswick honored United States Navy veteran Jeffrey Dominguez by dedicating Timber Ridge Road and Renaissance Boulevard East as Dominguez Way on Monday, June 16.
Jeffrey was born on June 24, 1988 in the Bronx, New York and is now a resident of North Brunswick.
Jeffrey is a DeVry University graduate, earning his degree in Information Technology.
Jeffrey served in the United States Navy. He had his service training in F/A-18 Aviation Structural Mechanic, Infantry/Gun Crew Seamanship. He was part of Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom.
Jeffrey completed 2 deployments while attached to the USS Nassau and USS Bush completing its ‘Maiden Voyage’ deployment. Jeffrey received the Humanitarian Award for assisting Haiti after the earthquake in 2010. These deployments provided maritime support operations to the Mediterranean, Red Sea and Arabian Sea (5th and 6th Fleets) and airstrikes in Yemen with naval patrols at the Horn of Africa.
During his service, Jeffrey earned medals in Aviation Warfare, Navy Good Conduct, Global War on Terrorism and Expeditionary, National Defense Service, Sea Service Deployment and multiple Plane Capt. of the Month awards.
Jeffrey lives a wonderful life with his wife, Kimberly Dominguez and three children Eva, Ethan and Emery. Jeffrey Dominguez is a proud North Brunswick Police Officer and a dedicated veteran who has served both our community and our country.
