Senior Citizens Gardening Club

The Senior Citizens Gardening Club meets on Tuesdays at 12 p.m. at the Senior Center with the goal of providing gardening activities that are age appropriate, fun and stimulating. We foster friendship and socialization with the activities geared to a variety of garden skills, interests and abilities. In addition to planting and maintaining the many raised beds and containers outside, the club maintains a beautiful collection of plants in the library for the enjoyment of all seniors and visitors.

Several times a year, the club travels to various gardens in the area where we might picnic. During the winter months we use natural materials to celebrate the seasons and share those with the Center.
