North Brunswick Seniors Virtual Program – What is Tinnitus?
The term “tinnitus” means to ring. About 90% of tinnitus cases occur with hearing loss. Tinnitus is the conscious experience of sound that originates in the head. It is hearing sound without an external source. Brief, spontaneous tinnitus can last seconds to minutes. Temporary tinnitus lasts minutes to hours. Chronic tinnitus is present frequently or continuously. Join us for a discussion on the basic facts of tinnitus, what you need to know and what you can do for relief.
